We started this project with our team on 20.9.2022. Our plan was for our rocket to analyze the environmental effects on vegetation around the newly constructed lithium mine in Kokkola with the help of an infrared camera.

We had started to work on integrating a BMP280 onto an ESP32 Feather. Even though we had some slight problems with wiring and difficulties with the code, we were able to start getting data on the surrounding air pressure through the BMP280.

Our plan for today was to get our Lora receiver and transmitter working together. Because of the several problems that came up today, we were unable to properly finish the connection between our two Loras, and it was left for our next gathering.

The problem with the receiver and transmitter connection was fixed and tested.

We finally agreed on the name TaigaSat for our team and went through some rough logo designs, but were unsatisfied with the ones that we came up with during this time.

We started learning how to build our website and made a rough outline for it which will be improved later on.

We made some finishing touches on our website, started working on our camera, chose our final logo design, and made a vector version of it.

Continued to work on the raspberry pi code for the camera and published our website!
