We've made four presentations in grade schools, from grades 1,2 and 5. Twice in Finnish for two different groups of five graders and once for one to two grades.
We also gave a presentation in English to prepare for the final presentation in the competition
Our first presentations were given in Finnish to 5 grades. This was our first time presenting in front of an audience. A fair amount of information was too technical for the 5 graders so our presentation was simplified for their level.
(24.2.23 & 9.3.23)
(7.3.23)
The next presentation was for the 1-2 graders, they were quite fascinated by our work, and super excited to see the rocket we brought with us.
(10.3.23)
Our final presentation was in English, for the last fifth graders group. First time presenting in English was a bit nerv racking, but we managed to make it through with little to no problems.
Presenting to the different grades and in different languages gave us good experience for the final showdown in the competition.
In our newest public outreach was in one of the grade schools that arranged the "Innokas" -event. We had our own stand from which we presented about the CanSat competition and our team's mission.
There we were able to present our team to the event participants, almost every one of them came to our stand at least once and listened to our presentation eagerly.
